Credit Card Tips! When accepting credit cards at the point-of-sale, always ask for a picture ID to help prevent fraud and avoid chargebacks.
If accepting credit cards over the phone, fax or email, always provide an invoice to the customer with your terms and return policy statement printed on the invoice or a separate agreement. Make sure the customer signs and faxes the invoice/agreement back to you. When shipping, always request signature or receipt to show proof of delivery.
